Happy Birthday Lilly!

Lilly turned one June 22nd. She is such a mess! She LOVES shoes. It's a little scary...she's kind of obsessed with them. I have to hide all the shoes in the house because she wants to put on and take off every pair she finds a million times. She also loves purses, telephones and credit cards. She literally finds my purse and pulls out my credit card and walks around the house with it. I think her dad and I may be in trouble. She had a great birthday. We had family and a few friends over and we think she knew it was her birthday...she loved being the center of attention. Happy Birthday to our baby girl!

Lilly on her real birthday

Her birthday party

I could NOT get her to pause for one second to get a picture of her...I think it was entertaining to her that I was trying so hard

Feeding Granny cheetos

Charlie wishing his sister a happy birthday

Decorating sun visors

I don't think she ever saw the candle...she was too busy watching people sing to her and then Charlie blew it out

But she loved that cupcake!

She LOVES these shoes!

Charlie got a tennis raquet for Lilly's birthday. He was so excited! He has played every day since. I think we may have a little Andre on our hands.

Beach Week

We went to the beach the 2nd week in June with my mom, dad, sister, brother and sister-in-law and their 3 girls. We had a great time! Charlie thought we had moved there. He did not understand why we had to come home. While packing, he kept saying "Mom, what are you doing?" I told him packing to go home and he replied "Why? I don't want to go home!" He just couldn't quite get that! We did typical fun beach stuff and also celebrated Lilly and Amy's birthdays while we were there. We had such fun, and NONE of us wanted to come home!

Happy Birthday Lilly and Amy!

Only the miraculous Rho Rho could clean up that mess without a bath!

We were trying to make them hurry and open gifts because we were missing the Bachelorette...they were not cooperative!

Matching dresses and baby dolls...it looks like Lilly is trying to eat her baby doll!

Going crabbing

Aunt La is not a fan of the crab.

Lilly, Charlie, and my nieces Elizabeth, Amy and Martha...it is impossible to get a shot of 5 kiddos all looking and smiling at the same time!

Fun weekend in Tennessee

So sorry for my lack of attention to my blog...I looked at it the other day and realized that the last pictures posted were so old! Lilly had almost no hair and Charlie looked like a baby. Lots has changed over the past several months. Charlie has turned into a big boy before our very eyes, and Lilly will turn one this month. They are at such fun ages that I often find myself wishing that I could just freeze them. Anyway, I will try to be a better blogger! These are some pictures from our recent weekend in Tennessee. We had a blast at a Redbirds game, Elizabeth's 6th birthday party, and the zoo. And we are looking forward to a fun-filled summer!
